New Release: RECLAIM MY HEART

Donna Fasano's Newest Release!

Donna Fasano’s Newest Release!

Sixteen years ago, Tyne Whitlock cut all ties to her past and left town under the shameful shadow of a teenage pregnancy. Now her fifteen-year-old son is in trouble with the law and she is desperate for help. But reaching out to high-powered attorney Lucas Silver Hawk will tear open the heart-wrenching past in ways Tyne never imagined.

Forced to return to the Delaware Indian community where Lucas was raised, Tyne and Lucas are tempted by the heated passion that consumed them as teens. Tyne rediscovers all the reasons she found this man irresistible, but there are scandalous secrets waiting to be revealed, disgraceful choices made in the past that cannot be denied. Love is a powerful force that could heal them both—if the truth doesn’t rip them apart.

What others are saying about Donna’s books:
“…complex, funny, and realistic…” ~Wilmington News Journal

“Excellent!” ~Bookreview.com

“Could not help myself from reading excerpts to my husband and friends. This book is well written, the characters are real, everyday folks. It is very easy to identify with them. Donna Fasano is a talented author.” ~Elizabeth M. Caldwell on Amazon

“…a fast paced riotous look at family life today. Donna Fasano is right on target!” ~Donna Zapf, SingleTitles.com

The Next Big Thing Blog Tour

Last week I was contacted by the wonderful and fabulous Donna Fasano and she invited me to join her in The Next Big Thing Blog Tour. Well, hell. With a name like that, how could I say no? The premise is actually quite easy. I interview myself and then post that interview here on my own blog for all of you to read 🙂 I then tag 5 others (or in my case only 4) and they do the same a week later. So, now instead of making you wait any longer, here is my interview of my most fabulous self!

What is the working title of your next book?

Crossing the Divide

Where did the idea come from for the book?

From the idea of what if. What if what we’ve always known to be true, isn’t.

What genre does your book fall under?

Mystery; Suspense; Thriller

Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

Oh, wow. I’m only at the beginning of writing it, so I really haven’t given that much thought. 🙂

What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?

What if the image on the other side of the mirror is the real one?

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

Self-Published as an ebook sometime next year 🙂

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

I’m currently working on that first draft right now! I’m writing it as I try to tackle NaNoWriMo!

What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

Again, I don’t know. Alice in Wonderland would be the closest.

Who or What inspired you to write this book?

My youngest son. He asked me why I haven’t written anything he would want to read (I normally write paranormal romance) and I’d been toying around with this idea of a parallel world and decided, why not.

What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?

Well, of course because it’s one of my books! LOL I’d like to think people will pick up my book because they’re curious about what if too.

Here are the fabulous authors I’ve tagged to tell you about their Next Big Thing!

Please, make sure you check them out next Wednesday!

And the 7’s have it!

Deciding to head on over to Twitter so I could start shouting to the world that Jealousy is FREE, (for March 18th) I find that I’d been tagged by R.L. Treadway with her Seventh Deadly Plague! OMG! What the hell is that you ask?

Well, here are the basic rules.

  • Go to page 77 of your current MS.
  • Go to line 7.
  • Copy down the next 7 sentences–lines or paragraphs–and post them as they’re written. No cheating.
  • Tag 7 other authors.
  • Let them know.

So, now that we have that taken care of, here are seven lines from my current work, Fear’s Embrace.

*

“Well, the last time we were here, Miles and I laid down some shields and people thought it were the ghosts trying to materialize. They flocked to those places and let their imaginations run wild. While I think Fear tried to pull them away from the traps, it too was pulled in because of the people’s reactions.”

“He’s right.” Miles said to Aaren. “We couldn’t keep the people away from them. Hell, someone even called in the local ghost hunters to investigate. We ended up leaving because there were just too many people here to effectively hunt.”

“Then what have we to lose?” Aaren commented as he looked around the cemetery.

And who am I gonna tag, you ask? Why, these fine authors!

Penelope Crowe             Donna Fasano

Nick Davis                      Pam Richter

James Garcia                 K.E. Saxon

Cheryl Shireman

Now its back to what I’d originally planned for twitter! Oh! And by the way, JEALOUSY’S RAGE is FREE MARCH 18th!
